Welcome to Doody Duty. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, customer portal, communications, and pet waste removal services. By requesting service, creating an account, scheduling a cleanup, submitting payment information, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
For purposes of these Terms, “Doody Duty,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Doody Duty and its website, DoodyDutyPets.com. “Customer,” “client,” “you,” and “your” refer to any person or business requesting or receiving services from Doody Duty.
1. Services Provided
Doody Duty provides pet waste removal and related yard cleanup services for residential and commercial customers. Services may include recurring cleanups, one-time cleanups, initial cleanups, deodorizing services, pet waste station services, and other related services offered by Doody Duty.
Service availability, pricing, scheduling, and service options may vary by location, property size, number of pets, cleanup frequency, yard condition, and access requirements.
2. Customer Information and Account Setup
Customers may be required to create an account or provide information through our website, customer portal, quote form, scheduling platform, or directly to our team.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information, including your name, service address, billing information, phone number, email address, number of pets, gate/access instructions, and any important notes needed to safely complete service.
You are responsible for keeping your account information current.
3. Payment Terms
Doody Duty uses a customer portal and/or third-party payment processor for billing and payments. Customers may be required to keep a valid credit card, debit card, or approved payment method on file.
By providing payment information, you authorize Doody Duty and its payment processor to charge your payment method for services, fees, and any applicable taxes according to your selected service plan.
Recurring services are generally billed in advance. Initial cleanups, one-time cleanups, and first service charges may be due before service is performed.
If payment is not received or your payment method fails, Doody Duty may pause, reschedule, or cancel service until payment is successfully processed.
4. Recurring Billing
Recurring customers may be billed monthly or according to the subscription schedule associated with their account.
For recurring services, your first charge may include the initial cleanup plus prorated charges for the remaining scheduled services in the current billing period. Future billing will follow the schedule assigned to your account.
Services billed for a billing period are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, except at Doody Duty’s discretion.
5. Initial Cleanups and Excess Waste
Initial cleanups, first-time cleanups, seasonal cleanups, or properties with heavy accumulation may require additional time and may be priced higher than standard maintenance visits.
If a yard has more pet waste than expected, excessive debris, unsafe conditions, limited access, or other issues that materially affect service, Doody Duty may adjust the price, reschedule the service, or decline to complete the service.
6. Cancellations
Either party may cancel recurring service at any time.
Customers should provide cancellation notice before the next billing date to avoid future charges. If you cancel after a billing period has already started, Doody Duty may continue service through the end of the paid billing period, but refunds are not guaranteed.
Doody Duty may cancel or refuse service at any time due to unsafe conditions, non-payment, repeated access issues, aggressive animals, inappropriate customer conduct, or any other reason that makes service unreasonable or unsafe.
7. Refunds
Payments for completed services are non-refundable.
Prepaid monthly service charges are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started. Refunds or account credits may be considered at Doody Duty’s sole discretion.
If Doody Duty is unable to provide a scheduled service due to reasons within our control, we may reschedule the service, provide a credit, or take another reasonable corrective action.
8. Scheduling and Arrival Times
Doody Duty will make reasonable efforts to provide service on your scheduled service day. Exact arrival times are not guaranteed. Routes may change due to weather, traffic, staffing, holidays, daylight, route efficiency, or other operational needs.
Customers may receive service notifications, including reminders, arrival notices, completion notices, or other updates by email, text message, phone call, or customer portal notification.
9. Access to Property
You are responsible for providing safe and clear access to the service area. This includes unlocking gates, providing gate codes or access instructions, keeping pathways reasonably clear, and ensuring we can enter the yard without obstruction.
If we cannot access the yard, we may skip, reschedule, or charge for the visit at our discretion.
If a locked gate, blocked access point, loose animal, unsafe condition, or other issue prevents service, you may still be charged for the attempted visit.
10. Pets and Safety
Your pets are important to us. For the safety of your pets and our team, please notify Doody Duty of any aggressive, anxious, territorial, or unpredictable animals.
Doody Duty may service yards with friendly pets present, but we reserve the right to require pets to be secured indoors before service. If our team feels unsafe for any reason, we may skip or stop service.
Customers are responsible for securing pets during and after service. Doody Duty is not responsible for escaped pets unless caused directly by proven negligence by our team.
When available, Doody Duty may send a gate photo or service completion notice after cleanup. This is provided as a courtesy and does not replace the customer’s responsibility to ensure pets are safely secured.
11. Yard Conditions
Doody Duty’s ability to clean your yard depends on yard conditions. Tall grass, leaves, debris, standing water, mud, poor lighting, excessive waste, unsafe terrain, pests, or obstructed areas may limit our ability to locate and remove all pet waste.
We do our best to provide thorough service, but we cannot guarantee that every piece of pet waste will be found under difficult yard conditions.
Customers are responsible for maintaining the yard in a condition that allows reasonable service.
12. Weather and Service Delays
Service may be delayed, rescheduled, or skipped due to severe weather, lightning, heavy rain, flooding, extreme heat, unsafe conditions, or other events outside our control.
If service is delayed or skipped, Doody Duty may reschedule the cleanup or perform the next cleanup as scheduled. Billing adjustments are not guaranteed when service interruption is caused by weather, access issues, holidays, or circumstances outside our control.
13. Holidays
If your service day falls on a holiday or a day when Doody Duty is closed, service may be skipped or rescheduled. If a cleanup is skipped, the next service may include additional accumulated waste.
Holiday scheduling may vary and will be handled at Doody Duty’s discretion.
14. Equipment Sanitation
Doody Duty may disinfect tools and equipment between yards using professional or kennel-grade disinfecting products. While we take reasonable sanitation precautions, no cleaning or disinfecting process can eliminate all risk of germs, bacteria, viruses, parasites, or disease transmission.
15. Service Limitations
Doody Duty provides pet waste removal only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Our standard service does not include mowing, landscaping, hauling large debris, cleaning patios or hardscapes, removing pet waste from inaccessible areas, cleaning inside homes, or handling hazardous materials.
We reserve the right to refuse service involving unsafe, unsanitary, or unreasonable conditions.
16. Customer Responsibilities
By using Doody Duty services, you agree to:
Provide accurate account, pet, property, and billing information
Keep your payment method current

Promotional offers, coupons, referral credits, free cleanups, or discounts are subject to the terms stated in the specific offer.
Promotions may be limited to new customers, certain service areas, certain plans, or specific service types. Promotions cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
Doody Duty reserves the right to modify, refuse, or discontinue promotions at any time.
18. SMS/Text Message Communications
By providing your phone number, requesting a quote, creating an account, or signing up for service, you agree that Doody Duty may contact you by phone call or text message regarding quotes, scheduling, service updates, billing, account notifications, promotions, and other service-related communications.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.

Opting out of text messages may limit our ability to provide certain service updates.
19. Email Communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails where an unsubscribe option is provided. Transactional or service-related emails may still be sent as needed to manage your account and services.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use Doody Duty branding or materials without written permission.
22. Third-Party Services
Doody Duty may use third-party platforms for payment processing, scheduling, customer communication, website hosting, analytics, advertising, email, SMS, and other business operations.
Your use of those services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third-party providers.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Doody Duty is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our website or services.
Doody Duty’s total liability for any claim related to services shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
24. Property Damage Claims
Customers must report any alleged property damage as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 24 hours of service.
Doody Duty is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, hidden hazards, unsecured gates, broken latches, damaged fencing, irrigation issues, landscaping conditions, or damage caused by pets, weather, third parties, or conditions outside our control.
We may investigate claims and request photos, documentation, or access to inspect the alleged damage.
25. No Guarantee of Results
Doody Duty strives to provide reliable, thorough service. However, we do not guarantee that every piece of pet waste will be found or removed, especially in yards with tall grass, leaves, debris, poor lighting, heavy accumulation, standing water, or limited access.
26. Changes to Services or Pricing
Doody Duty may update service offerings, pricing, billing practices, service areas, or these Terms from time to time.
We may provide notice of material changes by email, website update, customer portal notice, or other reasonable means. Continued use of our services after changes are posted or communicated means you accept the updated Terms.
27. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
28. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
